Elizabeth Brunner and her mother Elizabeth Sass Brunner were eminent Hungarian Painters acknowledged in India and in Hungary. They were invited to Shantinikethan by Eminent Indian Poet Rabindranath Tagore in 1930. Shantinikethan was the Symbol of Peace at that time in India.
